Two sides of the same coin! Political grifters in service to the highest bidder!
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗥 𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗔’𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧. First, let me start by saying that I had never met or spoken to Presidential Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara until he approached me online yesterday. During this public engagement, like a true leader, he extended a hand of reconciliation through the gesture of a vehicle, which he said was in recognition of the work I have done for the country. He then invited me to a roundtable discussion to understand why I am publicly opposing CAB3, critiquing the President’s work, and expressing my separate frustrations regarding the government's non-payment in relation to my fight against sanctions. We subsequently had another discussion offline, during which he explained to me that the President is not responsible for my non-payment for the sanctions work, but that responsibility lies with Kuda Tagwirei, whom was mandated to work with me. Additionally, he informed me that he would engage the President and all stakeholders on the way forward. As a result, in the same way that talks between ZAPU and ZANU led to the Unity Accord, and discussions between MDC and ZANU-PF led to the Government of National Unity, we are going to have frank discussions and seek a suitable way to navigate our differing political positions around CAB3. I also informed him that, contrary to the perceptions of some, I have no issue with the President, the First Lady, or the First Family. I have merely expressed the same constructive criticism on certain issues that I have raised since President Mnangagwa assumed office. And he has never taken issue with me criticizing him before because he has always been a listening President who allows open and frank discourse. I also conceded that if, indeed, the President or Amai feel that any of my critique bordered on disrespect, I, as a child of Zimbabwe who has served the country loyally, would be willing to apologize publicly to eliminate any notion that the I advocate for the disrespect of our leaders. I am a leader in our society and all the work I have done—from fighting sanctions; combating xenophobia and the expulsion of ZEP holders in South Africa; defending brand Zimbabwe; Telling The Good Zimbabwe story through documentaries on Trabablas, Geo Pomona, Champion Foods, Manhize, David Whitehead, Khaya Cement, and others, to travelling to Congo and Rwanda to assist efforts to end the conflict—has been done to advance Zimbabwe and support the President’s work because I believe in his vision for the country. My views on CAB3 do not stem from the non-payment issues, as has been suggested by those who attacked me in defence of Kuda Tagwirei but it has been based on my own political outlook. I understand from the Presidential Advisor that he intends to engage all the relevant stakeholders in an effort to reconcile us and restore and strengthen the unity we have always enjoyed. Lastly, the false notion that Dr Tungwarara and I knew each other beforehand, or that he sent me to air my views against CAB3 or the performance of the President, is unfortunate. The man now appears to be facing criticism simply for attempting to reconcile me with the party and a President whom I have supported since he came into office. All the President’s advisor is trying to do is foster reconciliation between one of the country’s strongest advocates and its leadership, in much the same way that the President himself has pursued re-engagement with the Western world and with those in the political opposition with whom he has previously differed. Our nation has a long history of reconciliation, from the Unity Accord in 1987 to the Government of National Unity in 2009 and POLAD, which I worked closely with in efforts to bring an end to sanctions on Zimbabwe. What the Presidential Advisor is doing aligns with the spirit of Zimbabwe, and I applaud it. Let those who seek to divide us not succeed in sowing division.

Great news comrades! CIC Liberty Hamauswa @HamauswaZW , Cde Richard Nyamandi Cde Dylan Chisemwa and Cde Takunda Mareverwa have been released after being granted bail by the High Court .These innocent students spent more than a month in prison for simply attending a court session. However, we must be clear: these comrades should never have been arrested in the first place. Their arrest was not a reflection of wrong doing, but a consequence of young people raising their voices, demanding accountability and standing for a better future. We thank every comrade, student, progressive forces, organizations and individuals who stood in solidarity. Online, at the courts and across different platforms. Your commitment proved that collective action remains our greatest strength. Special appreciation goes to the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights @ZLHRLawyers through Advocate Gift Mutisi for their dedication and legal support in helping secure bail for our comrades. We also extend our gratitude to Amnesty International @amnesty_zim WeLead Africa @weleadteam , Amalgamated rural teachers union of Zimbabwe @ARTUZ_teachers , Zimbabwe Peace Project @zppINFO ,SASU @SASUnion, Defend the constitution platform @DCPYouths, Zimbabwe Human Rights Association @ZimRightsLIVE , the media and all progressive forces who championed the call for justice. But let us remember: bail is not victory. It is only a step in the journey. The struggle continues. True victory will come when institutions of higher learning become spaces of freedom, critical thought and fearless expression …where students can organize without intimidation and where every young person’s right to education is fully protected. Our message must remain clear: students are not targeted because of who they are, but because conscious and concerned young people have the courage to demand change. Justice must prevail and students must stop being treated like criminals!! @Saynotohumanri1 @mutamba_tsitsi @VongaiMuts69851 @SheCommander1 @Bruce_Moyo1 @mwanawaDiana #FreEmmanuelSitima

The Rutendo Saga is simply a disaster waiting to happen. Each must carry their cross. But let us not forget who we are and what our true fight is. No fight for the dignity and sovereignty of a people is ever clean. Some will emerge rehearsed, singing the song of emancipation, but deep down they only serve themselves. Their betrayal will tear the very fabric of the resistance - but it will not break its spirit. Because what is true to our struggle is our resolve. Our resistance to the treachery and exploitation of our people by the State Capture Cabal. Our fight against #CAB3 has no equal. It cannot be bought by a Toyota 300 series. Neither does it consist in the recipients of such gifts. No! Not now! Not ever!!! Our story is forged in power, in principle, and in earnest. It is the story of legislators openly calling out and defeating #CAB3 in the chamber. It is the resistance by our people - the emails that went against the Bill two to one, the 210 court applications, the Generals who spoke when silence would have been safer, the citizen who received a bullet in an envelope and refused to withdraw. That is the struggle. That is the river. And we are in it!!! We must never allow ourselves to be taken in by the sideshow of the treacherous. Who does not know that matinyarare was a chief Cabal propagandist? A disgruntled employee fighting and negotiating a labour dispute in an attrition war with his handlers. His fight is not our fight. It is a contract dispute dressed as a conversion, and we, the people, do not find ourselves in the middle of that. It is not our occupation. Though we may comment, though we may hazard caution, at the end of the day such sideshows serve only one purpose: to distract, to disorient, and to undermine the efforts of the people!!! Do not be deceived. The Cabal is not threatened by a former employee airing grievances. It is threatened by a united people who have seen through the Bill, who have rejected the manufactured mandate, who have said no in every forum available to them. And when the people are united, the Cabal reaches for the oldest weapon in its arsenal: division. Distraction. The spectacle. The disgruntled insider who suddenly becomes the story, drawing eyes away from the chamber, away from the courts, away from the real fight!!! To our people, I say: do not lose heart. Even at Nyadzonya, we had Nyati. You know the story. A comrade who sold out. Who led the enemy to the camp. Who betrayed the movement at a moment of maximum vulnerability. The massacre that followed was a wound that still aches. But long after his treachery, we prevailed!!! Do not allow yourselves to be led by Johnny-come-latelies attempting to redefine the struggle of the people. Have the strength to ignore this nonsense and disregard it with the contempt it deserves. Some will come with cars. Some will come with envelopes. Some will come with leaked audios and tales of what they saw in the room. But the struggle is not in the room. The struggle is in the streets, in the courts, in the conscience of every Zimbabwean who knows that #CAB3 is a constitutional coup and refuses to be pacified!!! We will not stop fighting until the Cabal falls. Until #CAB3 falls!!! Until Zimbabwe is free - to the last man, to the last woman, to the last child who deserves to inherit a Republic and not a ruin. Our position remains. Our resolve remains. No to #CAB3!!! No to the Cabal. The Constitution will be upheld. Zimbabwe will be free from Mnangagwa and his Zvigananda!!! Blow by blow. Inch by inch!!! Trudging through the quagmire of a captured Republic, we will prevail. We have done it before. We will do it again. Because we are the magic that makes Zimbabwe great. We are the fire that no Fortuner can extinguish. We are the people, and the people are the only force that has ever changed this nation for good!!! Aluta continua, Zimbabwe. The struggle continues. And the victory is certain!!! @iNdaba_ @MacBelts

The argument for moving the voters' roll from ZEC to the Registrar-General belongs to a pre-digital era. In 2026, databases can communicate seamlessly. The Registrar-General can provide civic records to ZEC electronically without transferring ownership or control of the voters' roll. If the objective is data access, technology solves that problem. If the objective is something else, Zimbabweans deserve an honest conversation about it. Leave voter registration and the voters' roll with ZEC, where the Constitution intended it to be. #DefendTheConstitution #CAB3

A serious question to experts of #CAB3: who can be nominated by Parliament as a presidential candidate - the Bill does not appear to spell out the eligibility criteria? Under the current Constitution, the qualifications for election as President are primarily found in Section 91, which requires a person to be a Zimbabwean citizen by birth or descent; be at least 40 years old; and be ordinarily resident in Zimbabwe. The real uncertainty is not the constitutional qualifications but the nomination mechanism. The Bill does not clearly answer questions such as: Can any MP nominate a candidate? Must a candidate be nominated by a political party represented in Parliament? Can a non-MP be nominated? How many MPs must support a nomination? Can independent candidates be nominated? Is there a screening or vetting process? The absence of detailed constitutional nomination rules means that a crucial part of the process could be determined by parliamentary procedures rather than by constitutional provisions.

As an old man, I enjoy the benefits of experience. I have learned that the race is not always for the swift, and nothing is more patient - or more calculating - than imminent demise. That is my truth. It may be subjective. But I have watched this young man @matinyarare for some time now, particularly during his sanctions crusade. My humble observation: he is brilliant, enthusiastic, a master of his marketing craft. In politics, however, he is as green as a vegetable. That is not an insult. It is a measured assessment. He knows little about how the actual game of power is played. He may have read about it. He may have thought about it. But when it comes to playing it, he is a novice. A colt. Full of promise, but unbroken. It is unfortunate that his brilliance landed him in a situation where he could turn a profit and build social credit simultaneously. But with politicians, the brochure is never the product. There is always more than meets the eye. Rutendo believed in the brochure and was disappointed. In his outrage, he wandered into uncharted territory, the more-than-meets-the-eye side of things. In his fallout with the Cabal, I have heard him make many claims about KT. Most are false. He knows very little about KT. He suspects much, but he is not in sync with the reality. So with each audio leak, each personal exposé, he began to pierce the veil - based on assumptions about who he thinks Kuda is and what he thinks he was involved in. There are unspoken truths behind the current situation in this country. Truths that, just from listening to Rutendo speak, I realised this young man is aloof to. He has walked into a room and does not know the dimensions of it. Politicians are not businessmen. A simple lesson, commonly ignored, and fatal when not grasped. Jeffrey Epstein himself knew this. There are things that cannot be spoken - not because they are false, but because it is not ideal, opportune, or safe to say them at the time. It is only now that Epstein's secretary is fessing up. I will leave that line of thought there... Let me move to current events. The reason politicians playing dangerous games pick novices and place them on a pedestal is because novices are expendable. They only know a fraction. You do not take that fraction and weaponise it against them and think it earns you a seat at the table. That is not the path to their hearts. That is the road somewhere else. A special place where no man tells tales. Acts of childish rebellion using what can be considered highly sensitive information do not make a novice an asset to be cultivated. They make you a liability to be excommunicated - or worse. Sometimes in this game, it is not that people do not know what you know. It is that they know what is at stake, and most importantly, they know how the deck is stacked. As long as the edges of the dice are filed, it is not a fair game. And until a new set of dice is introduced, you would rather not play - and not speak. That is not cowardice. It is survival. But when the dealer with the filed dice asks you to play, and even agrees to wager the first few rounds for you, know this: you are not about to get rich. You are about to go broke. This game is not just about moving pieces or knowing when to move them. It is also about knowing when to leave the game entirely. Every gambler knows that the secret to survival is knowing when to hold and knowing when to fold. There is such a thing as a point of no return. And when you reach it, you should be smart enough to know. Forgiveness does well in the Bible. It does well in sermons. It does not do well in this game. This is why, even with good car insurance, a man also needs up-to-date estate planning.

My MP tearing through the fallacy that Ziyambi Ziyambi and @ProfJNMoyo have been feeding the nation about #CAB3. She makes it bare that the bill is about extending ED's term of office. That's what the songs, the jingles promoting this bill on radio and television are saying. We the people of Harare West, together with our MP, reject this 2030 nonsense!

This is exactly why in the context of Zimbabwe, a country where majority pple have been bankrupted by their own governmnt 3 times in 25 years, elections of all who directly derive power from the pple should be by the people. Trinkets cannot be allowed to hold a nation at ransom

🚩🚩Ask yourself these questions: 1⃣Why do these people want two more years? 2⃣Why are they investing in bribing people to say yes to an unconstitutional bill? Listen to what the DCP Convenor, @JamesonTimba, said! Zimbabweans have been speaking with one voice: we do not want the Constitutional Amendment Bill No.3, as it does not address the current crisis we are facing as a nation. Say NO to the continuation of economic hardships, corruption, collapsing public services, state capture, and low wages by saying #2030Musipo! They know a referendum is not something they can easily manipulate, as they cannot buy everyone to vote yes for their unconstitutional bill. #RejectCAB3

Chivhayo is demonstrating to all Zimbabweans how corruptible MPs such as this Hon Mureyanyi will be paid by zvigananda to elect as President whichever candidate they present before Parliament! This constitutional coup is beyond party politics, and serious @ZANUPF_Official @zanupf_patriots supporters ought to be outraged by it!
Moyo, I find it necessary to question the rationale behind the persistent interference in CAB3 affairs in such a manner. The situation has long since evolved, and it begs the inquiry: is this an issue of illiteracy on your part or something more profound? ZANU PF possesses a comfortable majority in Parliament, comprising 194 MPs, thus rendering these theatrical gimmicks superfluous and potentially damaging to the integrity of the legislative process. Even in the event that the opposition, numbering 86 MPs, unanimously votes against CAB3, ZANU PF remains capable of passing the Bill with relative ease, as a two-thirds majority merely requires 187 votes. Also remember that a segment of progressive MPs recognizes the merits of CAB3, understanding its benefits both for individual politicians as well as for the nation as a whole. Who among them would decline an opportunity to extend their tenure in office without the burden of costly elections? It is thus evident that ongoing speeches by many opposition MPs in Parliament are mere rhetoric and drama. Your agenda Moyo, appears to be rooted in the desire for personal acknowledgment as the architect behind the Bill's passage through incessant inducements. However, that critical moment has passed, and your actions now serve only to tarnish what was once a promising endeavor. The party has already done its homework and these extravagant incentives only undermine the legitimacy of the process. The passage of the Bill ought to reflect purity, free from the taint of accusations suggesting that financial inducements were employed. The introduction of such bribes into a legitimate Parliamentary process is not only unwarranted but wholly unacceptable, exposing a continued deficiency in your decorum which I have previously highlighted. I admire your ability to make money but not how you handle it. Financial matters within the political arena necessitates a degree of finesse and sophistication; otherwise, one risks appearing foolish. However a little education can enrich one’s character, equipping individuals with the wisdom and finesse for financial propriety. The current recklessness is a liability to the image of the Constitutional Amendment process and must stop. Beware that in politics, the adage stands: accept the money if it is offered, yet when the critical moments arise, act in accordance with the people's will. Therefore, it is both intrusive and superfluous to persist with gratuitous gifts, which are increasingly becoming a blemish on an otherwise exemplary political endeavor. The gimmicks jeopardize our collective moral standing.

CAB3 creates no jobs, lowers no prices, and puts no food on the table. Zimbabweans deserve leaders focused on their daily realities, not political power arrangements. Zimbabwe’s challenge is not a constitutional crisis it is a governance crisis. That is why l opposed the bill.
