I am pleased to announce that the "Like a Wave" series, a collaboration with
@Chrdnchnk, has won an award!
We were awarded the second prize in the dynamic category at
@AkaswapCom's third LikeWater Award. What's even more surprising and heartwarming is that we also won the community choice award. I am truly grateful for everyone's support!
I've considered expanding more into the contemporary art scene, especially after receiving invitations for artworks and exhibitions over the past few years. I took some steps in this direction during the first half of this year, but honestly, it wasn't smooth sailing. The more I interacted with artists, the more I felt out of place. While we're all broadly working on interactive new media pieces, the practical approaches between fields differ significantly. This year has led me to reconsider my position in the creative landscape.
I'm happy that Taiwan has organizations like akaSwap that continually host competitions and promote these fascinating, experimental on-chain artworks. It's precisely this kind of initiative that initially inspired me to start creating. I'm also deeply thankful to everyone who voted - knowing that people quietly appreciate our work motivates me to keep working.
So, although I may not consider myself a traditional (contemporary) artist, knowing that there are still people who love my work, I will keep on in the future! 💪
