Iām on a PlayStation podcast, but Iām a big Xbox fan. I honestly donāt know what the selling point of new Xbox hardware is if they continue to put their exclusives on PC.

I actually think I prefer the older color profile to the new one. I like the liminal vibe of Combat Evolved whether it was intentional on Bungieās artists or not.
Iām glad it at least looks nice though because GOOD LORD the 2011 Anniversary remaster was profoundly hideous.

This looks dope as hell, man. I love a systems-heavy game like this.
Itās a shame Xbox is so thoroughly mismanaged because their studios actually try to do weird, fun stuff with their game design compared to PlayStations compulsive drive to emulate film and TV.

I hope they lean more into Gears of War 2 design for this. Horde becoming arcade-y tower defense where you spend points on defense structures was not the vibe, in my opinion.
Scavenging weapons and shields from dead enemies in a struggle to survive was just way cooler.
