Going to start a #GAAD thread here of tips and hints about accessibility and using Ally on Blackboard that we'll add to throughout the day.
TIP 1: Add alt text to images that sit alongside content (i.e. outside docs) to helps those with visual impairments. Make it descriptive!

We set a new record for alt format downloads in Jan 2020 with a whopping 1.14 MILLION downloads, breaking our previous record by almost 90K set in October. And Jan wasn't even a full-month of classes! Awesome to see students making the formats part of their learning #BbAlly #UDL
