And that's pretty much a wrap on another great year of working with @cemseKAUST to produce—hopefully— interesting #content covering the progressive #research emanating from the Division & @KAUST_News #scicomm #science

Language is everything, I used to say, ‘turn & talk’ now I’ll say, ‘turn & learn’. Thanks for sharing @naik_tanay! Will use this protocol @ISLuxembourg on Monday!

Discussing the importance of not over planning with a group of teachers and ensuring that we leave room for student inquiries. Respecting their interests and questions.

Looking forward to reading this in more detail, but I am not surprised. Interesting how libraries and librarians are often among the first things to be cut due to budget.

One of my favourite days of year- watching students interact with their parents during #studentledconferences. The children appreciated their parents taking time out to listen and it was a good opportunity for us to stop and reflect during exhibition #SLC #PYP #education

"You've changed the landscape of #learning." Just one of the inspiring thoughts shared at the end of our workshop (4/4) w/ Young Creative Minds. It's heartening to have #schools embrace a mindset of doing things differently and letting students lead the learning #collaboration

Reflecting on the experience of our interview with professional writer @Couloulthakid, one student observed, “It is fun when you don’t know something and your prediction was wrong but you still get the answer.”
It was strange to have the shoe on the other foot this morning. Being interviewed by @CillaGeo's class was a daunting experience...daunting, but fun. It was also nice to get a brief insight into a working #classroom (glad I went with #journalism over #teaching 😄) #education

So excited for Sugata Mitra’s Keynote @toddle_edu’s Inquiry educator’s summit. “Children can learn stuff on their own...if you let them”. Why is it taking so long for us to apply this understanding?

This was written by the brilliant @CillaGeo who has been living though the COVID-19 crisis in China with my cousin @Couloulthakid Brilliant to see her words read out by @Schofe on @thismorning but I wish they’d name checked/contacted her to say thanks for the content!
'To those beginning this journey, you will get through this...' We don't know who needs this today, but these inspirational words from a teacher in China surely helped us. We're #KeepingSpiritsUp, weekdays from 10am on ITV and STV, so you're not alone! @Schofe @hollywills
