Calling dads! I am so excited to share this news.
For months I have been telling you that the “dad’s study” is underway—it really is!
We have conducted fifteen pilot interviews within a three-hour drive of the DMV region. We have cleaned up transcripts, looked for common threads, and refined our questions. We ready to hit the road and visit with dads all around the country.
Please help us cast the widest net by sharing this call for subjects here on X and in your local networks and other socials, especially if you have contacts in one of our ten regions (below). Men beyond those regions may apply, and will be considered as research needs indicate.

Attention families with 5 children! We are inviting all American-born fathers who have 5 or more biological (or adopted) children to apply for our upcoming study “America’s Dads with the Most Kids: Motive and Meaning.” The purpose of this research is to understand why some American dads are choosing to build large, abundant families, and to learn from them what it takes to get there.
