This is why I don’t respect @SimplySubstance. This isn’t about vengeance. When people talk about vengeance in this way, they usually do it to remove all responsibility from themselves. This is purely a victim mentality. The lawsuit is about Ian using a screenshot of a false accusation, one that he admitted was false, as a watermark for his stream. Ian wasn’t simply reporting that the accusation exists. I believe he was using it as a way to meme or take a dig at Ethan. I am confident that will be the focal point of the case. Can Ethan’s legal team prove that Ian was amplifying a false accusation? Fortunately for Ethan, Canadian courts are more plaintiff friendly when it comes to defamation cases. I have a feeling the coming months are going to be very complicated for Ian. Considering his brand isn’t generating much revenue these days, I can’t imagine this will be a comfortable process for him. The worst part about this whole thing is now I’m seeing reports of snarkers trying to find Ethan’s son’s school.
