Huge potential in the National Training Fund to support business develop and acquire the critical skills for digitalisation and climate action. Legislation change is necessary to unlock this essential finance. This signal is move in the right direction. #Budget24 @ibec_irl
Great to see a commitment to legislative change if needed to unlock the €1.5 bn surplus in the National Training Fund. Will continue to work with Gov to get that over the line and invest in Higher Ed, FET and skills. The importance of which can't be understated #Budget2024

Currently reflecting on the recent OECD Review of Skills in Ireland for new @ibec_irl policy paper, and it also confirms how skills are critical to leadership capability and innovation capacity across the economy, which all make Ireland a better place to live, work and invest.
