1/2 Denial of the problem is an issue when it comes to confronting race hate in some fanbases. The racism always belongs to someone else. It’s the exact opposite of how we fought racism at #Celtic from 1989 onwards, in the wake of the racist abuse of Mark Walters of rangers.

1/This video was taken in Nov. 2023, when Robbie Keane was manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv. Its first team is being shown a video of soldiers (staff) firing rockets during a genocide against Palestinians as a motivational exercise. They applaud it.

Perhaps most shockingly, Maccabi Tel Aviv showed a video of its first team applauding genocide being committed by IDF reservists employed by the club.
Despite this very clear use of footballing channels to promote genocide, the club has not been punished by @UEFA.
