No exaggeration this woman here has helped me through this labyrinth called legal academia. She's brilliant, kind, fun, and is committed to supporting women of color. 💐🌹🌸🏵🌼 @meeradeo

The Journal of Law & Political Economy invites submissions through Scholastica or eScholarship. Unlike most US law reviews, we have a “single submission” policy: we will not consider manuscripts that have been sent simultaneously to other journals. #LawTwitter

A white person just told me that my retweet & sharing of a minoritized & ignored voice was “unfair” because … it didn’t adequately represent the narrative told by Europeans. I guess many white liberals just didn’t learn anything from that anti-racism training/workshop did they? Or maybe we are just doing that “racism against Arabs doesn’t count because Arabs aren’t a race” thing again… 🙄

John Oliver may be able to tell you why the Supreme Court is awful, but he's not gonna tell you what to do about it. But you're in luck because we're teaming up with @PeoplesParity & an incredible group of faculty to do exactly that! Join us TOMORROW!! lpeproject.org/events/histor…

A must-read post by @NoahZatz on how the conflation of anti-Zionism & antisemitism "relies on pervasive racist & anti-Muslim stereotypes of Palestinians as endemically hateful, violent, deceptive, and hostile to Jews" in violation of civil rights law lpeproject.org/blog/palestin…

We need disabled scientists. A lot of us are watching this case and cheering on Dr. Cheung. As ⁦@OrlyLobel⁩ points out, very rarely do disability discrimination claims make it to trial. #cripthevote nature.com/articles/d41586-0…

Old people don’t evacuate. At some point you’d rather take your chances at home than try to escape. I think this is an international human truth. Every time I went into a place getting bombed, it was full of old people, disabled people, confused people. That’s who gets bombed.

Also wanted to point out that UNRWA shelters & donations sites are UN facilities & they are in dire need of $ to cover medical supplies, water & food in Gaza.
To those looking to donate to help the human beings in Gaza get needed medical care, water & food, UNRWA is a US based charity that has distribution centers in the region. unrwausa.org/donate

Like water to civilians, the tap of international law is turned on & off according to whether European leaders see the children being starved & massacred as human & deserving.
Russia’s attacks against civilian infrastructure, especially electricity, are war crimes. Cutting off men, women, children of water, electricity and heating with winter coming - these are acts of pure terror. And we have to call it as such. x.com/i/broadcasts/1lPKqBgDg…
