One year ago today, a prison guard banged on my cell door and said: YOU'RE FREE!! After more than 11 years under a life sentence, I walked out of max security prison with Leaf Erikson, the plant I was growing in my cell. Leaf and I are so grateful for our second chance at life.

Hey @KamalaHarris, You called me "the fentanyl dealer" in your new book and attacked President Trump for freeing me after more than *ELEVEN* years in prison. Yet, I wasn't prosecuted for dealing drugs myself and fentanyl wasn't part of my charges. The truth has never mattered to you. The goal is just to make me and President Trump look bad at all cost, isn't it? Don't be a sore loser, Kamala.

Ross might not be home today without Charlie Kirk. At this time a year ago, Charlie was campaigning around the clock. He was instrumental in President Trump's victory.  He also advocated for Ross, both publicly and privately, over the years, and personally appealed to President Trump for Ross's release until the very end. Charlie wanted Ross to enjoy the rest of his life in freedom, and we are devastated that Charlie's own life was taken from him. I got to see the ocean for the first time in over 11 years because @realDonaldTrump released me from prison. On this President's Day, I would like to acknowledge a truly great American President, one who cares about freedom and second chances. Here's to you President Trump.

I want to take a moment to publicly honor my mom and my wife, Lyn and Caroline, for the herculean effort they put into saving me from a life sentence. They worked side-by-side, day after day, for years. Despite many setbacks and countless challenges, they never gave up. The amount of work it took to get me to where I am today is beyond what most people can probably imagine. My fellow prisoners often told me how fortunate I was to have a dedicated wife and mom like mine. Many people helped us along the way and we are deeply grateful to all of them. I would still be locked in a cell behind a prison wall were it not for all the support we received. THANK YOU!

FREE ROSS! Day One.

This year for Christmas, we were given some milk and cookies. It's not as good as being home with family but it did help make things a little more cheerful in here.

“Outlive” by Dr. Attia has inspired me to be as healthy as possible so I can live a long life and make up for the years I’ve lost.

For my last monthly resolution of 2024, I intend to study every day and to get up to speed as much as I can as I prepare for freedom.

For the past year or so, I've been running a civilization-style game for my fellow prisoners. I’m now handing it off to one of my good friends so he can run it after I’m gone.

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. Happy Thanksgiving!
