Black women are just over 4 times more likely to suffer a maternal death than white women.
For mixed ethnicity women it’s three times as likely and Asian women are nearly twice as likely to die.

A response 2 the Ockenden report has seen maternity services boosted by an additional £95million this year, this will include creating new midwifery &obstetric posts, resource 4 more education & training incl. leadership programmes/ culture & more. Great boost, we have much to do
