A busy day for our S3 Business classes as their Social Enterprise “Kandy Kanez” opened for business 🤩. Awaiting a final figure but it’s been a SELL OUT 🎉👏🏼. All profits made will go to The Anchor ⚓️ - this was the charity chosen by the young people themselves 😊 #canesforacause

Last week S3 Business students were learning about Methods of Production and got some hands-on experience trialling each of the methods as they began working for the Operations department of Top of the Class Bookmarks 📚⭐️!

Job production involved specific customer orders to be fulfilled whereas Batch & Flow had to assign roles, agree upon a more standardised design and meet a higher quantity of orders. We then discussed which method we preferred & why.

To kick off #MathsWeekScot, Higher Accounting started a Stock Market Challenge,where they have picked FTSE100 companies to invest (an imaginary!) £25k in.They will continue to track their investments using spreadsheet calculations and graphs over the coming weeks! @ClydeviewMaths
