Sophomore QB Bruno Vega broke a 7-7 tie with this winding 49-yard TD run and Boston College commit Steve Klein calls game with another rushing score to seal a 21-7 win.

It’s difficult to put into words to the love we have for Coach Z. He has touched the lives of so many. Not just in Westwood but anywhere he went. He was the most genuine person to be around. There’s no better example of toughness and grit. We love you Z!

The North Jersey football community has lost a true Icon with the death of coach John Zisa.
Zisa broke his neck in a swimming accident in 1980. He went on to work as an assistant at Pat. Catholic, PC, Westwood & Wayne Valley, inspiring generations.

RIP to one of most influential coaches in Jersey Sports. Coach Z was the definition of battling adversity and being mentally tough. No matter what it took, he showed up to practice every day ready to work. Will never forget the life lessons he taught us as players.
