What started as a well intentioned effort to help more kids graduate and not be excluded from school has turned into “hey teachers we won’t help you when kids misbehave and you better give them a 70 so they graduate, even if they don’t do anything in class”
Student behavior is the leading complaint for why teachers are leaving the profession but seemingly no one in the media wants to talk about this

Saw a H.S. Kid on Instagram run 10 feet and throw the ball as hard as he can into a net at 90 MPH and then fall down. Figured I would look up his current H.S. Stats to see how he pitches. Currently 15 walks in 4 innings. If you cant throw the ball for strikes does it really matter?
