Choices shape the quality of your life. Every day, you are choosing something: discipline or delay, growth or comfort, focus or distraction. The life you build is the sum of the choices you repeat. The challenge is that the best choices are not always the easiest ones. Sometimes the right decision feels inconvenient, uncomfortable, and costly. But the cost of a poor choice is always greater in the long run. Great people do not just have big dreams; they make hard decisions. They choose to do what is necessary, even when it is not exciting. They choose consistency when others choose excuses. That is why choices matter. Your future is being shaped by what you choose today.

Missing kicks is part of the game. But how you miss matters. Did the ball barely slide outside the upright? Or was it a complete shank left? Because there’s a difference. One is a confident miss and one is usually a breakdown somewhere in the process. A confident miss tells you you’re close. The quicker you can coach yourself after the miss, the higher level of ball you’ll be able to play. Does it take you five kicks to make the adjustment, or can you fix it after one? The best specialists aren’t perfect. They just make corrections faster than everybody else. They understand what happened, trust their training, and move on without letting one miss turn into three. A lot of athletes panic after a miss and start changing everything. That’s where things snowball. High level guys can separate emotion from correction. Small adjustment. Full commitment. Next ball. That’s a huge part of becoming consistent. #TLK #BeAPro #StackDays #KickingCoach #TrustTheProcess

A bad coach tears people down. An average coach focuses only on results. A good coach teaches skills and systems. A great coach builds confidence and trust. An exceptional coach helps people believe in themselves at a higher level. And the best coaches impact lives long after the scoreboard stops mattering.

Special teams matter and the best teams understand that
The Seahawks spend more on their special teams than any other team in the NFL at $9.325M in salary. Their kicker just scored over half the points and their punter downed a punt inside the five-yard-line as Seattle won the Super Bowl.
