Train with the guys you’re gonna play in the fall with, ones you’ll be playing with on your film.
You should not be missing school workouts…. School workouts come before your trainer, 7v7, or anything else!

Marcus Freeman shares what servant leadership really looks like. "My current and former players, you are my why. You are my motivation. You are the reason I get up every day and work as hard as I can." "To see you all reach your goals, to see you all set a goal and live out a dream - is what gives me my inspiration every day to do what I do." That's servant leadership. It's not about titles or trophies - it's about helping others become the best version of themselves. Great leaders believe they serve the team. They know that when your "why" is bigger than yourself, the work never feels like work. (🎥 Notre Dame)

I’ll never forget the meeting announcing the shut down of the program at the end of my freshman season, but I met some dope people in that short time! That team was gearing up for a memorable run that next season
Western Washington University Vikings (1903-2008) The Vikings had five national Division II playoff appearances and finished as runners-up in the 1996 NAIA Division II season

Spoke to a fellow Tongan who paid $4,000 to a recruiting service. I looked at his son's tape, shared his strengths, weaknesses, projected college position, & which schools to focus on. Asked him why didn't he reach out to me first & he said, "Pride.” Pride sure is expensive.

If you’re playing 7s but not in the weight room, you aren’t getting better!
Nowadays, too many athletes spend the offseason upgrading the wrong things... New gloves. New cleats. New highlight edits. More camps. But none of that actually makes you faster or stronger. Two time state champion head coach for Sumner High school, Keith Ross explained it perfectly on the podcast: “You don’t need to paint the car and wax it… you need to go get a new motor.” If you want real results in your sport, the offseason has to be about building horsepower: - strength - speed - consistency in the weight room - showing up even when nobody’s watching The athletes who treat the offseason like an investment are the ones who dominate when the season starts. And like Coach said… The weight room doesn’t go on vacation. Want the full episode with Keith Ross? Comment PODCAST and I'll send you the link. @SumnerFootball @WSFCA1
