I wanna coach players that love being great TEAMMATES. Great teammates go out of their way to sacrifice for others, going above and beyond for the benefit of the TEAM. THOSE are the ones who turn contenders into CHAMPIONS!

PLAYERS: Making excuses about why you aren't in the gym, the weight room, or at training sessions usually leads to bad habits. These bad habits will be the same ones that lead you to make excuses during the season as to why you are underperforming.

Are you "Secretly Sabotaging" your team without knowing it? Here are 10 Things Great Teammates NEVER Do. Avoid these to level up your team. 1: QUIT - Great teammates never give up and keep going even when things get tough. They know that quitting hurts the team and personal growth. Great teammates persevere through challenges. 2: BLAME - Great teammates take responsibility for their actions and don't blame others. Blaming others can create a toxic environment on the team. Great teammates work together to find solutions instead of pointing fingers. 3: COMPLAIN - Great teammates focus on solutions instead of complaining about problems. Complaining erodes team morale and kills progress. Great teammates offer constructive feedback and look for ways to improve. 4: BRING DRAMA - Great teammates avoid distractions. Drama causes tension and negativity that can destroy the team. Great teammates stay focused on work and avoid gossip and rumors. 5: POINT FINGERS - Great teammates work together to find solutions instead of blaming others. Pointing fingers kills trust and relationships. Great teammates learn from mistakes and avoid placing blame. Want more insights like this? 6: SHOW UP LATE - Great teammates are punctual and understand the importance of respecting others' time. Being late is selfish. Great teammates prioritize being on time. 7: MAKE EXCUSES - Great teammates take ownership of their mistakes and work to fix them. Making excuses sabotages growth and progress. Great teammates learn from mistakes and move forward. 8: MAKE POOR CHOICES - Great teammates make responsible decisions that benefit the team. Poor choices can have detrimental consequences for the entire team. Great teammates understand the impact of their actions. 9: RUN FROM A CHALLENGE - Great teammates embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. Avoiding challenges will make a team soft. Great teammates face challenges head-on. 10: BADMOUTH TEAMMATES - Great teammates appreciate and support each other's strengths. Badmouthing teammates creates tension and mistrust. Great teammates build each other up and avoid tearing each other down. _____ That's a wrap! The game of football is officially broken. NIL, transfer portal, 6th year seniors, high school kids being offered money to play college ball or transferring 2-3 times between freshmen - senior year in high school, youth select travel teams, personal trainers making more money than Bill Gates from training 9 year olds how to run routes. We are just chasing after the wind. Good luck catching it. Football was once built on the foundation of commitment, grit, finish what you start no matter the cost. We should apologize now to future employers, wives, and children for the young men that are learning to quit or leave when things are difficult or times get tough.
