Recruits: Go where you’re wanted. You’re valuable & don’t need to beg someone for a roster spot. If they’re not showing you love, that’s all the sign you need. There’s a home for you that you don’t know exists yet & you won’t find it if you don’t look 🤞 This isn’t just sports.

There are a WHOLE lot of programs at every level still needing goalkeepers and center backs (me included on the CBs). What do y’all think: Are there just not enough talented ones, are we being unrealistic about the talent we want, or something else?

Looking for a tall, athletic defender that can start at center back. We have scholarship money and dorms available. If you’re looking for a home where you’ll enjoy yourself, and coaches that will move you to a higher division, this is the place to be. 🔥

Transfer players, go where you are wanted and valued. Where you can achieve your goals and enjoy your experience. Pay attention to the roster turnovers and how often players arent returning! It's not just to play ball, its to find a home and your family!

Coach Dan is the man 🤝
9 Players from our 2025 team will be playing Division 1 soccer next year. We currently have 3 Division 1 transfers on our 2026 roster. The portal in May is scary and quick. Who wants a different pathway and time to make informed decisions while also competing for championships?

A lot of people talking about players and coaches ghosting each other... If someone ghosts you, you dodged a bullet. That wasn't your home, and you just didn't know it yet. Be thankful. 🤝 This tweet isn't just about sports.

Why are so many youth soccer players so angry during games?? I get passion and fire but damn, sometimes the amount of negativity just looks like they’re not even enjoying the sport.

Everytime I get mad at my sports team for losing, I remind myself of what Giannis said. Arguably my favorite response to a reporter ever.

a player told us she'd rather try to go to MSUD & walk-on. Us being 2 hours away was too far from home & her parents weren't fans of community college. Alea paid $0 here, 3.5 GPA, visits home often. All due respect, the other's playing career is over. JUCO is a viable option 🤷‍♂️
Congratulations to our sophomore & team captain Alea who’s committed to play D2 soccer in her hometown, at MSU Denver!

I share not to bash the kid, as I hope she's doing well & appreciate honesty. But I share to show evidence of JUCO's value. You CAN take the same classes for cheaper, get an offer to your dream school that you didn't get from club. Just need the RIGHT program, coach & mindset

One thing American kids can learn from international student-athletes: Know your budget for school; what would you pay for an education/experience that you want. It makes our process to offer easier & saves everyone time. Coaches will still offer you scholarship if they want you

Found our 9 in Texas 🔥 I feel like we have one more spring signing out there somewhere… don’t get stuck with nowhere to play in the spring! 👀
We’re ecstatic to announce our newest spring signing, Karina Trujillo! Karina is a 6’0, left-footed striker, originally from Mexico & graduated high school in El Paso, Texas. She played her club soccer at RSL El Paso, and attended UTEP as a regular student during the fall.

This is great advice. Our recruits get to talk to our athletes individually after the initial recruiting call and they also spend unstructured time w/ players during the visit, without coach, without mom & dad. No better way to get a quick glimpse of the culture and team vibe.
Replying to @ImCollegeSoccer
Parents, this is why when your kids go on their visits it’s important for them to spend time with the TEAM. The coaching relationship turns businesslike quickly. The teammates will be who your athlete needs to rely on for peace. Make sure they feel good about the team. Trust me!
