What an awesome night at the Kaz! We had a great turnout for our K-4th Youth Football Camp, with young Panthers learning football fundamentals, competing in drills, making new friends, and having a blast alongside our high school players and coaches. One of the best parts of the night was seeing our current players invest in the next generation of Maumee Football. From teaching skills and encouraging campers to building relationships, they did an outstanding job representing our program. Thank you to all of the campers, parents, coaches, and players who helped make the evening a success. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see these young Panthers back at the Kaz soon! We are Maumee!

One of the best traditions of the summer. Last night, our high school and middle school football players, cheerleaders, coaches, families, and friends came together for the 4th Annual Cookout at the Kaz. It was an awesome evening filled with great food, games, competition, and plenty of laughs. Events like this are about more than football. They help build relationships, strengthen our culture, and connect every level of our program, from our middle school athletes to our varsity leaders. The bonds formed during nights like these are what make our program special. Thank you to everyone who helped organize, cook, set up, and attend. The continued support from our players, families, and community is what makes Maumee such a special place. The season is getting closer, and we can’t wait to get back under the lights together. We Are Maumee!

The reality of it is, it takes what it takes. Our sessions are never more than 90 minutes, 3x a week. If you are on vacation, enjoy it! But if you are in town, get your butt out of bed and get better- or get passed up by someone who is. Summer lifting isn’t what is preventing kids from being kids— the 3 day tournaments over the weekends, every single weekend of summer is guilty of that one.

Yesterday was a great day for Maumee Football. We had 25 college coaches come through Kazmaier Stadium to evaluate our players and get a firsthand look at our program. Proud of the way our guys competed, worked, and represented Maumee throughout the day. The exposure is important, but so is the opportunity to showcase the culture, energy, and direction of our program. Our players handled themselves the right way and made us proud. Our Maumee Football players had an awesome time volunteering at the Maumee K-5 Color Run to help raise money for 5th Grade Camp! From throwing color powder to cheering kids on at every station, our guys loved giving back to the next generation of Panthers. We talk all the time about being more than football players. Serving our school and community is part of what it means to be a part of our program. Proud of these young men for showing up and making a difference today. As we start our Lift-A-Thon Fundraiser for our Maumee Football Program, we want everyone to know what it truly costs to outfit ONE football player. Now multiply that by 80 players in our program… That’s over $90,000 invested into giving our student-athletes the equipment they need to compete safely and at a high level.
