What types of courses should you take for Ivy college recruitment?
1/ Your core cumulative unweighted GPA is the number that matters.
Core = math, science, english, or history.
2/ Take the hardest version of those courses your school offers. If no AP take honors.
Cumulatively by HS’s end you should have 4-5 APs you’ve done well in.
3/ Even for test-required schools the level of rigor on your transcript matters.
Rigor = the perceived difficulty of the courses you are taking really matters to admissions officers.
