As soon as I heard @AdamSchein claim Bills “ass kicking” over Chiefs, I went to NSR channel!! Losing team has ball with a chance to tie at the end of the game does not equal ass kicking!! Bet he didn’t say anything about refs huddle to drop incorrect grounding flag either!!

Love the flowers my dear friend, Earl Francis Lloyd, is receiving today!! He was a pioneer on the court and off with Chrysler and the City of Detroit and most importantly a fantastic human being!! I loved the man and truly miss him!!

On this date in 1950, Earl Lloyd stepped onto the court and into history as the first Black player to play in an NBA game, becoming a Pioneer in the @NBA. Fellow NBA Pioneers, Chuck Cooper made his debut for the Boston Celtics on Nov. 1, and Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton made his debut on Nov. 4 for the New York Knicks. The Pioneers' resilience, vision, and leadership fundamentally reshaped the game, laying the foundation for a more dynamic league and inspiring generations to dream bigger and push further. It makes me proud to see current stars Stephen Curry, Jaylen Brown, and Karl-Anthony Towns reflect on the 75th anniversary of these barrier-breaking debut games.

75 years ago today my dear friend Mr. Earl Lloyd broke the color barrier in NBA when he stepped onto the court for the Washington Capitols!! I’m blessed to have met him, spent valuable time with him & learned many life lessons from one of the most genuine human beings ever!!

The NBA just gave tribute on Juneteenth to one of the FIRST African American NBA players! I had the honor to learn of his history and what he added to basketball from my visit to WVSU and coach @CoachPoore ! Happy Juneteenth! 2025 NBA finals!
