Being a part of the @AMCAT_Football program for the past six years has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. To every offensive lineman I’ve had the privilege to coach — you made my job easy every single day. I’m grateful for the work, toughness, and brotherhood you brought on and off the field! In those six years: being part of 30 of the program’s 40 wins, winning two conference championships, and earning a playoff and bowl appearance… that’s something special. These last few days have been extremely tough with the abrupt closing of Anna Maria College. Being a 4-Year Athlete, earning multiple degrees from the College, and then starting my Coaching Career here has all been a true blessing. To the Players, Families, Faculty, and Coaches that I have had the pleasure of meeting throughout the Process, I can confidently say I gave you everything I had on an everyday basis to see this Program and School succeed. I want to say Thank You, to each and every player I had the absolute pleasure to Coach thus far into my Career. Coaching wouldn't be the same without phenomenal people who are willing and want to grow and get better every step of the way. You guys have seriously made an impact on my life, and these past 4 years so enjoyable. #GSB Every year I preach to my players that, "You Must Water the Grass Where your Feet are At", and I have lived with that mindset every day I came to work here at Anna Maria. Giving all you have to the players you are standing in front of on a day-to-day basis is the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me. Never looking for the next opportunity when I have a job to do here. With that being said, the closing of Anna Maria College will now force me to pursue other Opportunities that are presented. I am open to any and every opportunity moving forward. Being the Head Coach of @AMCAT_Football has been an honor. The relationships built over the last 5 years I will cherish forever. We were in year 2 of the build. Coming off a championship in our first season in the @mascacsports conference. Doing something no one thought we could. We tied a program record for wins and set the longest win streak in school history. To the guys I coached over the years, I hope I made half the impact on your lives that you’ve made on mine. I got love for every single one of you. To the seniors, thank you for buying into a young coach and a new standard. Appreciate @Coach_Mul giving me a chance to start my career here as a QB coach at 22 years old. Which lead to being the OC at 23 years old and averaging 38.9 points a game over the fours seasons. Then to becoming the youngest Head Coach in the country. Proud to say I’ve been apart of 30 wins of the 40 total in program history. It was a great run. Coaches reaching out about our players, I will work on giving you all a call back. I can guarantee you are getting a Disciplined • All IN • Competitor. Someone who cares about the team! Loved this school and the players I’ve got to Coach. These guys know that I will be in there corner for life with whatever they need. I appreciate everyone reaching out with the kind words. This entire team will all find a great home, coaches included. What a run it has been. Excited to see what the future holds.
