By coaching the players' movement without the ball,it will help the player with the ball to increase his perception, decision-making,and pass accuracy More importantly,it builds the relationship and understanding of partners' needs in reference to the opponent, space, and the ball
Coaches' Correction Mistakes 🧵 "John, pass the ball better!" How often have we heard this? Often, coaches critique players' technical actions without considering the game cycle. What a player does before receiving the ball greatly impacts their actions. Let's break it down👇

Defending the player without the ball by the right full back. He protects the space behind him, in front of him, and is ready to press if the opponent makes a pass. This is top-class defending. Imopeksis- “yellow defending”

Zonal defending without correct defensive player behaviors in that zone and correct application of the individual defending principles will always be just zonal defending and will make any positional play look like a master piece.

One of my favorite moments from our (@basketse) Super Clinic was when Joe Boylan (Director of Player Development, Minnesota Timberwolves) was asked about the number of repetitions versus representativeness. "Rather 30 shots in context than 1000 undefended shots."

Number 1 Limiting Factor “My players can’t _______.” This statement is perhaps the greatest barrier to maximizing a child’s potential. Of course they can. They just need: ▪️Belief (yours and their own) ▪️Expert Instruction ▪️Permission to Fail ▪️Patience #TOVO

We don’t coach a sport. We coach children. Sport knowledge alone is not nearly enough to be effective educators. #TOVO
