When culture has changed in a program...the player’s police themselves. The coach sets the standards and direction. But there is so much power in a player telling his peers “this is how we go about our business.” Or even better “we don’t do that here.”

SOURCES: @EMU_Baseball is hiring Mike Ott as its new head coach, I'm told. Ott spent the last 14 seasons as the head man at Kalamazoo College (D3). He recently guided Kalamazoo to a 33-13 overall record and has a strong reputation on those ranks. He takes over at #EMU.
