This post is almost a week late, but I wanted to give a special S/O to these GWAC ‘26 Individual/Relay/Team Champs (some of which are Back-to-Back Champs). The entire group of young people were fun to coach! Excited for their future & our program’s future! Horns Up!

Nobody drifts into greatness. You drift into mediocrity by default. If you’re not intentional with your habits, mindset, and direction, you’ll slowly end up somewhere you never meant to be. A meaningful life is built through conscious choices made daily.

This is what Rise to the Standard is about. It’s about having an unwavering standard in how you do everything. It’s about approaching the little things the same way you approach games. It’s the same relentless effort in every task. If you’re going to do something, no matter how small or mundane, be intentional about getting better and pouring your whole heart into it. That is greatness. That is the standard. Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
