Dakota Gonzalez ranked among the Mountain West’s most productive scorers during her time at UNLV, finishing seventh in points per game as a sophomore and eleventh as a junior.
She also came through in matchups against Power 4 opponents — putting up 14 points in a win over USC, and adding 16 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals in a tight 72–69 battle with No. 25 Oregon State.
Had she returned for her final year of eligibility, there’s a strong case she would have been a top-10 scorer in the conference and firmly in the mix for All-Conference honors again.
