A good high school basketball team doesn't need 5 scorers.
It needs a floor general, a lockdown defender, and somebody who knows their job is to rebound everything in sight.
Roles win games. Superstars are built out of teams that commit to those roles.

Posting AAU highlight reels is great but I think kids pick the wrong clips a lot. 3’s when a defender isn’t even in the frame, breakaway dunks, & finishes with zero resistance at the rim don’t prove much. If I’m a college coach I want to see your decision making, defense, etc.

More kids bring their defender to the ball than anything else. So many times people unintentionally bring help defense because they don’t understand spacing..
