I have finally posted an overdue article about databases. I wanted to improve my hour counting process, which I previously used ChatGPT for, but it was slow and clumsy. I decided to write my own implementation in Ruby for it, but it's a subject for the next article 🫡 codebyblazej.com/posts/crud-…

It’s been a week since I started learning Rails, and it hasn’t disappointed! Ruby was a tough first language, but after pushing through the curriculum I couldn’t be happier I chose Rails. Everything’s clicking, and after all these documentations I have seen so far for many things Rails Guides are really outstanding.

New article on my blog! This time it took me 211,5 hours to go through the The Odin Project intermediate CSS section 💪 I’m a bit behind on publishing, but the next articles will come out much quicker, one after the other. I will do my best! 😃 Check it out 👉 codebyblazej.com/posts/level…

Just spent 3 hours diving into some surprisingly interesting SQLite docs about indexing and query planning. 📚 Haven’t finished databases yet, so not sure how common this is among devs but wow, understanding this feels like a secret hack to speed up future apps. Totally worth pushing through the 'boring' bits!

I have just finished the last project from the Intermediate HTML and CSS Course on The Odin Project! It's been a blast to go through this section so far! I learned a ton, and GRID is going to be one of the most important tools from now on. 🔲🔳 I can't wait to get to Rails 🛤️

I have officially finished the first REAL LIFE project for my mate's business! It solved his problem, saved him hours of manual work, and gave me my first taste of building something that actually helps someone. Feels unreal. 🚀

My friend rang me this weekend and said that he is struggling with product configurator fir his business. There is a lot of elements going into 1 fully built product Because he has started not so long ago, his database exists simply on paper. Every time customer places the order he needs to go through the sheet and count the final price. It’s going to be my first real product build! I am quite happy as the things are finally moving forward! 💪
