Today’s AI systems are extremely powerful at prediction, but prediction alone is not enough for long-term, real-world intelligence. This often occurs too rapidly to be fully explained by reflective cognition alone. This paper begins from a simple premise: connection may occur in the body before it is narrated in the mind.
