Every capstone begins with the same mandatory exercise: a public “Racial Narrative” or “River of Life” in which principals must confess how their whiteness left them complicit in systemic racism or how they, nonwhites, were oppressed by systems of whiteness.
How did so many teachers and school administrators become so radically left wing? For many, it was DPI's Wisconsin Urban Leadership Institute training them to become "equity champions." @ColbeyDecker presents an eye-opening investigation. heartlandpost.com/wisconsin-…

Governor Evers himself has said children spend about 80% of their time outside direct instruction. That time is precious and doesn’t discriminate between public, private, charter or homeschool students. This federal scholarship program would stand in the gap for thousands more families by helping kids access tutoring, after-school, and summer learning—whether in public school or elsewhere.
Last year’s Republican Big Ugly Law created a $25 billion school voucher program that diverts taxpayer dollars from public schools to private schools. I helped introduce the Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act, led by my good friend @RepGwenMoore, to repeal it. As a public school graduate, I know firsthand the value and importance of our public education system and will continue to fight for it.

The most tragic part is this program could have been truly transformational, focused on best practices in math and reading skills that actually help kids.

I'm more motivated than ever to share the truth about DPI's Wisconsin Urban Leadership Institute. Wisconsin deserves better than a radical "Indoctrination Ritual: Mandatory Racial Narratives" x.com/i/status/2065154686542…

Not only does Wisconsin's school regulator run sessions where educators have to denounce their families and neighbors in the most sickening terms to prove their own virtue -- but years of this appear to have done nothing to improve children's learning. heartlandpost.com/wisconsin-…

Taxpayers are funding a state-run leadership academy that requires public school principals to confess their racial sins, grade themselves on ideological purity, and then return to their buildings to implement race-based policies.

This is @WisconsinDPI own infographic for Wisconsin Urban Leadership Institute. They've suddenly restricted access, but I archived it, along with countless other documents, months ago.

The DPI has been seeding Wisconsin schools with what should be honestly described as a cult.

Wisconsin DPI & The DEI Mission: How Tony Evers and DPI Replaced Education with Woke Indoctrination over the last 15 years. heartlandpost.com/the-dei-mi…

The great majority of Americans still believe government K-12 is about core academics. It is not. Schools are not failing our children. They are turning our children into exactly what the system is designed to do. If we begin with the wrong premise, we will always be shocked at the intended results and we will never be able to find solutions to solve the problem.

The decline in Wisconsin education must stop. 2019: 36% of 4th graders reading proficiently 2022: 33% reading proficiently 2024: 31% reading proficiently Per-pupil spending is at a record high, yet results are worsening. It's time for accountability and higher standards.

The Democrat narrative that more money = better outcomes is a lie. Wisconsin spends more money on public education than ever before, and the outcomes keep getting worse. Less than 1/3 of Wisconsin fourth graders can read at grade level, and only 5% of black students in our largest district can read or do basic grade level math.

Replying to @RAVerBruggen
On main NAEP, Wisconsin's 8th grade girls math' scores FELL 8 POINTS from 2019 to 2024, 1 point above boys to 3 below. That is a reverse Mississippi miracle, debatably 1 grade level. Their national RANK ROSE from 4th to 1st. It is bad! (February 2026 results out January 2027)

Time to wake up Wisconsin! We can bring K-12 education excellence back, but it's going to take a strong leader like @TomTiffanyWI to lead us there.

Wow those were some crazy storms in NE Wisconsin! We got caught in the rain while we were out knocking on doors, delivering signs, and handing out literature. It was another great day for Team Baney. We had a couple incredible meetings and have some fun plans in the works! 🇺🇸
