Our lab at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is looking for a Research Programmer / Computational Biologist to join us in advancing computational genomics and RNA biology.
✅Who should apply?
Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
✅What you’ll do:
You will contribute to—and potentially lead—projects focused on developing and maintaining widely used genomic software tools, including:
• CLIP Tool Kit (CTK)
• Quantas
• DeltaSplice
✅You will also have opportunities to work on cutting-edge research in:
• RNA-binding protein biology
• Alternative splicing regulation
• Transcriptomics & post-transcriptional regulation
• RNA-based therapeutic development
