Seeing the collection of defiant tweets is disheartening. You don't actually have to say anything. You can support women without participating in an angry search for the next target. This is a comic industry infected by rabies. You can't extract a pound of flesh from a dead man.

The other part of this MCU direction is that you have A LOT of women characters to do movies around. What’s puzzling is when they say, gender swap Taskmaster and you’ve got all kinds of women who get passed up for roles. Why not leverage more of them? Then you gain the history.

While I don’t like the gender swapping of the Silver Surfer (just why?) my bigger problem here is that we’re getting Silver Surfer in the first movie where they join the MCU. I hate jumping there so fast; it keeps MCU’s pattern of slamming 100 issues of characters out the jump.

Looks like Namor is done. Also done is any storyline where he tries to kidnap Sue to steal her away from Reed.
