This just arrived. It looks great - giant dimensions, around 300 pages long and full of @danielwarrenart sketches and original art pages from throughout his career. It also has a load of commentary in it which is the kind of thing I love. I'm going to enjoy working through this.

If the first volume was good, this kicks things up to an insanely high gear. An eight-issue thrill ride that's one of the best superhero stories I've read in years.
This is the rare book that has now made the leap from tradewaiting to my monthly pull: it's just too good to wait.

I kicked off my weekend by reading these two over my morning coffee, and it couldn't have got off to a better start. These are the kind of stories that remind you why you love comics - both totally different but perfect in their own way. Recommended if you haven't tried them yet!

End of Life #1 was a great read. A fun script by @TheKyleStarks that moves quick and is full of laughs and action, with dynamic, bold art from @stevepughcom which tells a story that's visually interesting throughout. I shouldn't have expected any less after Peacemaker Tries Hard.

Saying one is objectively better than the other is silly either way. There are improvements in the SEs (eg. removal of ugly matte lines and boxes) but mostly, regardless of "quality", the disconnect comes from two different eras of filmmaking awkwardly clashing in the same movie.
"The 90s CGI is jarring"
The poorly composited model shots literally stick out more than the CGI shots. You simply have contempt for one and not for the other. This perception is not rational. It has never been rational. Your entire life has been a lie.

This was a decent ending to a fun mini from @straczynski, with a neat wrap of the villain plot and some nice character moments. It also feels somewhat open-ended, as though he might return to this era? I'd definitely buy an ongoing 'Spider-Man: The College Years' series from him.

Hey @DSTLRY_Media, I wanted to check whether @Ssnyder1835 and Francesco Francavilla's White Boat #3 is still on the way? I know it's been pushed back a few times but the schedule on the website is now coming up empty. Hopefully we'll get to see the final issue of this story soon.

This was lots of fun. A series of team-up one-shots that throw characters together in unusual combinations to see what stories come out of it. Accessible, funny, thoughtful, with the kind of character-oriented writing @straczynski excels at and great art throughout. Recommended!

This was my most anticipated comic of the week. Everything Dead And Dying has been an unusually rich and moving horror story, and issue #5 gives it a fittingly emotional end, with @ThatJPhillips art that captures the story's beauty and brutality all at the same time. Recommended.
