One of the dumbest antitrust lawsuits is the blockage of Nexstar Media Group’s $6 billion bid to acquire local news broadcaster TEGNA.
The merger will make local tv stations great again! Trump wants it, but lawyers and state AGs want to block it.
STUPID!

.@StephenMoore: "This is a BLOWOUT number. It is a great tribute to Trumponomics...What we're seeing right now is nothing short of a miracle...we've got rising wages in this country today, those numbers on construction and manufacturing, in terms of productivity, are INCREDIBLE!"
The new employment report with nearly 250,000 added jobs confirms the economy has shifted into warp speed as we near one year anniversary of Big Beautiful Tax Bill.
Manufacturing – booming!
Business investment - booming!
Construction – booming.
Hiring -booming.
Dow Jones, Nasdaq and S&P 500 - booming.
Stock market - booming.
Take-home pay - booming.
It’s a big beautiful Trump economy!
I've been hearing in Texas how the property tax carveouts for data centers have totaled more than $1 billion per year. Some fearmongering is going on, but I'm against these tax breaks where they exist; that shouldn't be a reason to stop data centers or stop tax breaks!
This evidence by @Comm4Prosperity's Hotline of higher property taxes despite the data centers in Loudon County counters the fiscal effects argument. But this begs the question of why local governments want more taxpayer money: it's the spending, stupid!

Ways and Means Committee Chairman @RepJasonSmith lectures hospital CEOs: “the prices you charge are borderline extortion.” Hospital costs have soared 300% in two decades.
Time to end hospital billing and insurance reimbursement scams in Medicare/Medicaid.
"The fact that one of the largest producers in the world is no longer part of that, really makes OPEC now a toothless tiger."
@StephenMoore joins Katie to discuss the UAE's exit from the OPEC oil cartel - and breaks down what that means for energy prices here in the U.S.
The killer Bs, Biden and Buttigieg, idiotically vetoed the JetBlue - Spirit merger. Now Spirit is broke and wants a federal bailout.
How can one broke government bailout a broke airline? Trump should “just say no” to a taxpayer bailout!
Biden admin messed up by not allowing Spirit and JetBlue to merge. Literally lead Spirit to bankruptcy. But just because Biden failed, doesn't mean the Trump admin should.
Taxpayers should not give a $500 million bailout, and the Fed government should not "buy" Spirit!
Virginia can’t afford Abigail Spanberger.
New taxes on everyday expenses like dry cleaning, gym memberships & pet care.
It's no wonder she's seen one of the swiftest declines in her popularity in the first six months in office that I've seen in politics.
California wants $137.5 BILLION in federal Medicaid funds, more than the entire budget of Florida.
Gavin Newsom is pushing a 15% spending surge while the rest of the country foots the bill.
This is a taxpayer bailout!
Price caps have failed time and again. Once used by the Soviet Union, Democrats are now pushing the same approach– which will only lead to drug shortages and stifle innovation.
When manufacturers can’t afford to bring new therapies to market, patient access to lifesaving treatments diminishes.

Last week at @CPAC, @StephenMoore made it clear: Insurance companies are the villains.
These conglomerates lobby for more subsidies– even after pocketing $150B taxpayer dollars over the past two years.
Healthcare can, and should, be more affordable. That starts with holding big insurers and their middlemen responsible.

The unholy alliance between @AARP and @UnitedHealthGrp puts patients on the back burner.
At Friday's @CPAC panel, @TimothyDoescher reveals AARP's $9 billion financial windfall from UnitedHealthcare, all while lobbying to protect the status quo—keeping premiums high.
This “partnership” restricts patient access and continues to drive up costs.

“Arthur Laffer and Stephen Moore’s ‘How to Hollow Out Your State’s Economy’ rightly warns about the risks of Washington adopting an income tax. Olympia lawmakers have passed the tax, and, at the time of writing, Gov. Bob Ferguson is poised to sign it… The rationale is clear: It’s about feeding an addiction to spending.
Thanks, @thomas_savidge!

Stephen Moore at CPAC USA 2026: "The free market works in every single industry in America. It's the reason we're the most powerful, richest country in the world, and yet we, we don't use free markets in healthcare. It just doesn't make any sense."
Tim Doescher exposes the middlemen in the pharmaceutical industry that inflate drug prices, drive scarcity, and pass on costs to the consumer at CPAC USA 2026.
