Formerly Commander Maritime Reserves at Navy Command HQ, Portsmouth and now Head of Reserves in the Ministry of Defence. Supporting Reservists across the UK.
Reserves Day was very different and great fun. I enjoyed a day of online engagements with fellow reservists from each of the Services to celebrate who we are. As the day ends I simply want to say thank you fellow reservists for what you do and why. 👍 #ReservesDay#WholeForce
The stations may be quieter but we are still getting the word out about Armed Forces Week! If you spot this animation at locations around the UK tag us in a photo #SaluteOurForces#ArmedForcesDay#ReservesDay@DefenceHQ

2020 - an extraordinary year for us as we fight a new national threat. The NHS is on the front line and the Armed Forces are in support. There are almost 40,000 reservists in the Armed Forces making them even more versatile and effective. A day to reflect and be proud. I am.
#ReservesDay invites are out to attend the breakfast event with senior leaders from the #civilservice and #defence on the 24 June. Dress rehearsals have also taken place, which include the novel factor of being able to mute anyone! @DefenceHQ@UKCivilService

Reserves Top Tip #6. We won’t defeat COVID-19 overnight and those Reservists on the front line today can’t stay there indefinitely. Reservists, tell your UESO or MOBO what specialist skills you have, what you can do and when? Knowledge gathered now will allow us to plan ahead.
Reserves Top Tip #5. The MOD has updated its Q&A pages on GOV.UK to answer many of the questions that employers of Reservists have as we mobilise them in support of our COVID-19 response. You can read them here @DRM_Support #COVIDSupportForce
