The Commonwealth Secretariat, with @EnvironmentRw and partners, supported a UNFCCC Secretariat-led pilot of a centralised Biennial Transparency Report review for African LDCs in Kigali in May.
This model demonstrated how co-ordinated, regional approaches and resource-pooling can improve the quality of BTR reviews, reduce costs and strengthen peer learning.

Last week, ahead of the 62nd @UN_HRC session, our Human Rights Unit convened a briefing in Geneva for Commonwealth member countries, chaired by Samoa, the Commonwealth Chair-in-Office.
The briefing brought together 26 delegates from 23 member countries to discuss upcoming resolutions and strengthen coordination on human rights issues across the Commonwealth.
