Community Day. Saturday April 29th. 11am-3pm We’ve got over 30 fabulous information stalls in the Carlile and Crossroads Centre, including Kirklees Quilts 4 Care Leavers, who will be raffling this amazing quilt £1 = one ticket £3 = strip of five tickets.

What a busy Bank Holiday Weekend! Community Day on Saturday, then a Makers Market and Scarecrow Festival on Monday! Weather forecast looks good too, so have a great weekend and support all our fabulous local groups and businesses.

The Post Office, Library The Carlile Institute are closed this morning. All sessions up to lunchtime are cancelled. We’ll open up later this morning, currently aiming to be back up and running by 12pm
