It is of grave concern that a company can employ between 51 and 200 employees and still be able to produce filleted accounts. #WBUK have all the appearance of a successful business but where is all the money coming from? There must be a full and acceptably independent inquiry into all the issues raised in the below documentary, an inquiry that includes investigation of all bank accounts in the control of both #WBUK and its individual directors. #WBUK are a slick operation and services such as using top PR companies do not come cheap. #WBUK have parliamentary access, have been the secretariat of an APPG and their event #WAM is held in @UKParliament The #WBUKScandal can not be ignored. What will #WBUK do next? Make malicious alligations to silence all dissent? Carry out a sham self investigation using chums from big accountancy or legal firms perhaps? Just carry on regardless of the growing number of concerns? What's driving the agenda for Office For the Whistleblower is big money, what concerns us the most is the path to the office for the whistleblower is strewn with whistleblowers they have trampled over. The whole #WBUK operation consists of A CEO who has posed as a whistleblower from various sectors, each time changing her cover story when outed as false. Maskerading as a whistleblower support organisation in order to push the OWB agenda, who have helped just enough people to maintain some credibility but have left an evidence trail of too many people they have failed. Who have used malicious alligations and anonymous accounts to bully and mislead the public. Who have championed numerous #Fake #whistleblowers all with potentially lucrative cases or high profile names. Who have consistantly pushed the bounty agenda whilst denying that this is their ultimate goal. We ask again that the money that has funded WBUK must be made public via an inquiry and this scandal must never happen again. Our laws should be made based on evidence not on who has the most cash to influence law makers. Whistleblowers are not pieces of meat to be divided up in profits for the legal and compliance industries.

HE WARNED THEM IN 2014. POLICE ARRIVED IN 2023. If you came in as an emergency at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and you waited, or you were turned away, or someone you love did not get the care they needed in time, this is why. The on-call surgeons were treating private patients instead. A consultant neurosurgeon named James Akinwunmi saw it happening. He also saw colleagues fraudulently billing the NHS for pay they had no right to. He reported all of it. Rather than act on his concerns, managers launched a disciplinary process against him. False complaints were submitted to police alleging he had threatened colleagues. Police took no further action. The trust never told him that. They then accused him of unauthorised absence during an approved sabbatical and dismissed him in October 2014. He took them to an employment tribunal. He won. The Employment Appeal Tribunal upheld the unfair dismissal finding in 2017. Then in December 2023, with a live police investigation already running at the hospital, the then-CEO of @UHSussex sent staff an email urging them to have the courage to raise concerns. Akinwunmi told @guardian the email was laughable. He said whistleblowers including himself had done exactly what the email was encouraging and they were sacked for it. Operation Bramber, launched by @sussex_police in June 2023, is now a criminal investigation covering over 200 cases of alleged surgical negligence at the same hospital. More than 90 are being treated as possible manslaughter. The force had to request extra Home Office resources just to cope with the scale of it. The Care Quality Commission separately downgraded @UHSussex from Outstanding to Requires Improvement. Inspectors found safety concerns had become normalised.
