Computer Vision Lab is an initiative to bring the european computer vision community closer to impactful tasks, datasets and applications for worldwide impact.
Computer vision has always been my thing.
I started way before deep learning, and I remember how complex everything was.
(Look at the blue book in the background of this photo. It's from 2011, and I still have nightmares about it.)
Modern computer vision is 100x more powerful.
Here is a new book: Modern Computer Vision with PyTorch. This book is the state of the art in 2024:
• Deep learning
• CLIP
• Segment Anything
• Stable Diffusion
• Autoencoders
• OCR using Computer Vision NLP
• Generative Adversarial Networks
• Deep Q-learning for computer vision
• Productizing computer vision models
There's much more, but I'm too lazy to keep writing, so check out the outline online: packt.link/hYRO4
If you want to get into computer vision, there's no better book out there.
First Principles of Computer Vision, Columbia University
