The IMF always pushes anti-masses policies through their puppets. They advised the removal of subsidy, devaluation,VAT increase, and now tax on fuel and telecom. Nigeria has the highest number of people living in poverty. All these further make life miserable much to our chagrin.
JUST IN: 🇳🇬 IMF has told the Nigerian government to impose fuel and telecom taxes on Nigerians, to increase government revenue. Nigeria is currently the number 1 country with the lowest quality of life.

May Allah protect you and your loved ones from every calamity. In these times of insecurity, economic hardship, and uncertainty, may He keep us safe, provide for us from sources we never imagined, ease our burdens, and grant our nation peace, stability, and prosperity. Ameen.

Anyone that seeks your vote as a northerner, ask them their plans about security. Let them tell you practical steps, and what they’ll do to to inculcate values and morals on the next generation to crush terrorism. If they mention amnesty to bandits, leave the place and don’t them.

Over the years, I’ve come to realise that the people are the media, and they decide on what to push, trend or otherwise. In spite of our gargantuan challenges requiring our collective voice, Arewa social media is agog with frivolities—trending a marital affair of another person.

The “Arewa has no media” talks which many of us hitherto believed is no longer a valid prim of thought. Arewa actually has media. We’re the media to trend our issues. Quite infelicitously,we always choose frivolities to trend rather than our mushroomingly multi-dimensional issues.

After saying bandits are known, they’ve moles in govt, and there are many calibre of people involved, one would think he has something good to offer other than amnesty to these criminals. I don’t know what transpires behind the scenes, but amnesty to bandit will never be justified.

If a whole General can be abducted for weeks—where he ended up dying in kidnappers’ den—without being rescued by the government, how about those that don’t even make it to the news? We’re in a serious problem in Nigeria. The sooner these bandits are decimated, the better for us all.

The death of Major General Abubakar Rabe (Rtd) should serve as a lesson to serving military personnel. Use your position to protect and safeguard ordinary citizens while you are in service. Do not allow politicians to use you as a scapegoat. Remember, there is life after retirement. May his Gentle soul rest in peace👏🙏

May Allah forgive the soul of General Rabe. It is truly heartbreaking to hear the news of his passing. We cannot continue like this as a country. I personally feel that this insecurity is beyond the current capability of our defense systems. The government appears helpless in the face of it. We lack the necessary intelligence. We lack the necessary equipment and technology to contain it. Recall that some time ago, a foreign country used its intelligence capabilities, entered the forest, rescued its citizen, and left.
