There are really two things that drive my political views as I've grown more apathetic over current events beyond what impacts me: 1) MAD Magazine using terms like "Integrity! Absurdity!" to describe politicians through satire; and, 2) Matthew 24:6/Mark 13:7 on foreign policy.

The U.S. didn't negotiate with Hitler, either.
This was filmed over 80 years ago. Berlin, Germany right after WWII.

Welcome to America’s 1956 moment. Americans can finally understand how the British felt during the Suez Crisis. The difference is that Britain folded under overwhelming pressure. Trump didn’t need the pressure—he folded anyway. P.S. If you don’t know the history of the 1956 Suez Crisis, Google it before replying. #Iran #IranWar‌ #IranDeal #IranRevolution2026‌ #JavidShah‌‌‌‌‌

Evidently, we must have because the guy I voted for just pulled the most Obama-thing imaginable in the Middle East.
There is no way to sugarcoat it. America’s new “allies” are Turkey, Pakistan, and Qatar. Did you vote for this?

UNPOPULAR OPINION: The U.S. military is not capable of winning a war now. There is no longer any political will to do so from the leaders of either party. Public opinion polls will never again support a war that didn't come because America was directly attacked on domestic soil. Neither party wants to risk losing a election because of a military operation in which the options are limited out of concern for civilian casualties. Even then, the population has become so demoralized by the media's repeated lies and distortions of facts that any attack would be perceived as a 'false flag' by the fringes on both the Left and Right just like 9/11.
I'm not concerned about the MOU, which doesn't say much. I'm concerned that the entire military might of the US couldn't force the regime into submission. If America failed to win the war with Iran, how could it protect Taiwan? How could it protect the gulf Arab states?

LOL, but I was told that Trump defeated Iran after all other presidents before him had failed? Lesson here is, you can't cut deals with Iran. Trump either has to accept defeat or attack Iran once again. He will be crucified for doing either; Congress probably won't approve more money to fund this operation. What a catastrophic decision to do anything at all, since there remains no clear objective on what true victory would look like.
Fars News: The Strait of Hormuz is closed until further notice. The IRGC Navy has blocked all vessel traffic for more than 96 hours.

While Trump betrayed the Iranian, Israelis, and the Kurds in his first presidency, it was Trump who signed the sanctions on Russia's Nord Stream 2 that prevented the invasion from occurring much earlier. Biden lifted those illegally. Biden also didn't provide enough weapons to beat Russia, but no one faulted him for this, or for lifting the sanctions. The only way Ukraine is 'liberated' is by the U.S. invading. But that would lead to a nuclear exchange with Russia just as it would have during the Cold War.
Trump betrayed the Ukrainians. Trump betrayed the Iranians. Trump betrayed the Israelis.

This reminds me of the Hans Blix scene at Kim Jong-il's headquarters in 'Team America: World Police', lol.
Iran will be permanently restricted to low-level enrichment that "can never be used for military purposes," Trump told the New York Times. A 20-year suspension of uranium enrichment remains under discussion, though Trump indicated he may accept 15 years.
