I volunteered on the London Edinburgh London cycling event. Cyclist cycle the route, 950 miles in under 128 hours. Due to the storm the event had to be paused then cancelled. Only one man out of 2133 managed the whole route. He out cycled the storm, Ian McBride! @ConsortiumTrust

This cyclist spoke to the right person yesterday. Unfortunately she mislaid her waterproof and asked if there was a shop she could buy a new one, this was 4am! I took pity on her and donated a waterproof from our Dofe. Turns out she is a fellow teacher.#kindness @ConsortiumTrust
