Given all the #pm25 #pollution headlines in US east, worth resurfacing this video I shot of pollution from an indoor wood cooking fire in India.

For more than half a century well-meaning entrepreneurs and NGOs have worked on "clean" cookstove alternatives given how many people cook on indoor wood fires - including some with chimneys. Like this one I videotaped in Nandal, India. The chimney was clogged with soot.
