Here’s why we need to Save the Parish: parishes are hugely valued (well beyond the wonderful people who come in and worship God in them) and they are unique (in that nothing else does what they do), and they are under threat. Alison Milbank sums it all up in @TheCriticMag

Today we celebrate the Annunciation of the Lord, which means that in just 9 months we will be celebrating Christmas Day. Let's hope the Corona virus is long gone by then. # if you care, say a Prayer.
@Pontifex has invited Christians worldwide to pray the Lord's Prayer at noon Rome time (11am UK) today, on the Feast of the Annunciation.
Join in as we 'direct our voices together toward Heaven...' alongside many others.

Who says the church is dying. Since we started opening all day for private prayer, we have had a steady stream throughout the day every day to pray and light candles. God is still great!!
Just to clarify our church is open everyday, but this will be after Fr Paul has said morning prayer and offered the Mass, there can be no public worship at the moment.
