A twenty year relationship between Professional Wrestling and Chicago's Berwyn Eagles Club has come to an end after the venue had its licenses and permits pulled as a result of what is now being referred to as a 'Fake Stabbing' incident at Ruthless Pro Wrestling’s OMEGA event on March 28.
GCW Owner @Lauderdale11 took to social media to announce that the June 20th GCW event at Berwyn Eagles Club has been cancelled, along with all other events at the venue.
This is due to the incident at Ruthless Pro Wrestling where the locker room emptied out to attack a fan. The original story passed around with the viral video was that the fan attempted to stab wrestler Mads Krule Krügger.
However Lauderdale says there was no stabbing. The wrestlers needed to justify the brutality of the incident and now local town officials and the police have gotten involved.
