The three row just wasn't going to cut it today. First time this thing has ever seen non gmo corn. 2 acres of open pollinated bloody butcher red corn for whiskey/bourbon/bread going in the ground. Toward the end you can see the plot we tested it on last year thats now sweet corn

Eight brood sows aren't going to buy you a car like the stories of my folks getting started 60 years ago. That doesn't mean you shouldn't give your kids a few acres or some livestock or an old building to try to stimulate the ole ag genes. Experimenting is entrepreneurship

I didn't have much experience prior to Flyover of working directly with customers and overseeing a small team. Receiving a review like this shows we're on the right track. I may be TOO involved at times, but I'm really proud of our team and the experience/service we can provide.

Go back to the farm or ranch while your dad is still your dad. Most of us should learn, work, and/or start a business outside the operation before investing your whole self back in it, but don't wait too long. Taking the reigns vs having to take the reigns is very different

It seems there's no price of gasoline which would incentivize @EPA to increase the ethanol mandate from 10% ethanol to even 11%, and E15 feels out of the realm of possibility, meanwhile Brazil has been running 20% ethanol blends for decades.
In case you missed it, some pertinent news came out of South America Wednesday afternoon. 🇧🇷Brazil wants to raise ethanol's mix in gasoline to 32% from 30% by the end of June 🇦🇷Argentina's Rosario exchange raised the 25/26 corn crop to 67 mmt from 62 mmt, adding 1M more acres.

I'm not sure how you read "largest cattle feeder in America" over an investor and not laugh a little, but this is the reality we live in. Everything he says in the interview is true. The feast and famine of true cattle feeding and dire straits of ranching just doesn't show.

The perfect gift for farmers doesn't exist... Few things make them say "dang, that's the coolest thing I've ever received," but we hear it every day.
