This weekend Darren and PD Luna took part in the South West Regional Police dog trials hosted by Avon and Somerset. They only completed their Initial Police course in December last year but still amazingly managed to achieve a qualifying score of 733. The future is bright. ๐

PD Gwen was deployed to a break in progress overnight. She put her nose to work to track down the outstanding suspect before detaining them. Stolen property also recovered. Excellent result for this team and many more to follow! ๐ ๐ ๐ช

More great work from PD Cooper last night! Super Cooper assisted RPT with a premises search following another great proactive stop and arrest for PWITS. He located large quantities of Class B from numerous hides and thousands in cash. Well done Coops ๐

Our dog of the day is PD Bond.
Last night in freezing conditions Bond assisted units in a lengthy search by putting his nose to use to help find a high risk missing person, he tracked and located the person.

Following an overnight burglary at a commercial premises PD Bond completed a track locating articles for forensic evidence and giving us the offenders route for cctv enquiries. He followed this up locating/detaining a suspect for domestic offences who was promptly arrested.
