Congratulations to HumidiFi for a very WET public phase sale!
Despite the unexpected delay on the public sale, there were over 60,000 people that were moist and very DTF, constantly refreshing on the sales site and aping in the moment the deployment went live.
More importantly, we are very happy to share that based on initial data sampling, it appears that the vast majority of participants were real users and not clankers.
Each of the 4000 users that managed to purchase $WET had to go through the DTF application’s front-end. Based on initial wallet-age analysis, we are very confident that legitimate users at their battle stations (with rapid refresh and fast fingers) won today and only about 5% were from potentially suspicious addresses (thanks @bubblemaps for helping us identify these).
It was also massively great to see the WET-MET collaboration between the chads at @temporal_xyz and @MeteoraAG to innovate on developing the multi-layered tech solution which ensured that it was impossible for bots to bundle and snipe the sale.
At this point, we would also like to apologize for the confusion. There was a delay in the deployment (to implement part of the anti-bot package) that caused the sale to go live at 10:40 ET, instead of the earlier stated timing. It appears that the heavy traffic slowed down the deployment.
While we are glad that anti bot measures were successful, we are again apologetic for the deployment issues that caused so many of you frustrations and confusion.
We have learned a massive amount over the last few days, from bot protection to staker / whitelist allocations, and will work on ensuring that future DTFs are smoother and better distributed.
We will be relentless in building the best possible launch platform for the very best projects in the space.
Congrats again to HumidFi for a very oversubscribed pre-sale and we are excited to see what HumidiFi, the largest prop AMM, have in store for the ecosystem in the years to come!

I remember when SUI went live in mid-2023. the vibe on ct was pure trash, "no airdrop, no community". ct was screaming dead on arrival
did i listen? of course not. I ignored the noise because I bet on teams more than tokens
and now I’m betting on these two guys here
right now Monad is getting destroyed on ct, but most of the hate has nothing to do with the team or the tech
it’s just bad timing because in the last year a ton of hyped l1s and l2s launched. most either failed hard or massively underdelivered
people lost money, got burned, and now hate anything that smells like "another fast blockchain".
but monad is different

> same solidity code
> 100x faster
> no l2 middleman
> no compromises
this is not another chain, this is the EVM on steroids

I said that benja and @ChogNFT has my support, and now I'm going to say that I also bought this NFT from the @monadverse collection, which perfectly expresses my current mood whenever I see the debates on my timeline.
through this, I would like to ask all members of the @monad community to quickly get back on their feet and continue the excellent work they have been doing for years. don't ruin in one week what you've built over years.

I was genuinely bummed to see the @chognft launch turn out so disappointing.
but hey, not everything goes according to plan, and pulling off a truly fair token launch is extremely difficult.
I was pretty pissed at @1stBenjaNAD at first, even shot him a dm on X (which he never read lol), but I still believe in the guy. doxing yourself while launching a meme/NFT project is honestly super rare in this space.
I even bought some $CHOG to show support, but this is NFA.
also, quick advice for everyone: stop the community beef, drop the tribalism, and just focus on building your own thing.

even though my timeline is nothing but monad people fighting nonstop, I saw this post and it honestly put a smile on my face again.
huge respect to @melooox3, goated NFT founder.
tldr: someone meant to list their @skrumpeys NFT for 7540 $MON but messed up the decimals and accidentally listed it for 7.54 $MON. it got bought in literally seconds.
the community started putting together some donations to help the seller out, and then melo came in and sent the full 7540 $MON straight to the seller and covered the whole loss.
total class act. reminded me there’s still good people in crypto.

i just received 7,540mon from @melooox3 even though i was the one who messed up and listed a @skrumpeys for 7.5 MON. this shows there are still good souls in this toxic space. i hope skrumpeys hits a 200k floor price. wish you the best 💜💜💜
