First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity. I also want to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who supported me throughout my journey.
From being a freshman on B team coming off the bench to where I am today, this journey has been anything but easy.
There were early mornings, long nights, headaches, stress, tears, sacrifices, and moments where I doubted myself. A lot of people only see the outcome, but they donβt see the grind behind it. The extra hours in the gym, the workouts when nobody was watching, the pressure, the setbacks, and the hard work it took to get here.
Coming from where I started, I never stopped believing in myself. Being overlooked only pushed me harder. Every setback became motivation, and every struggle helped shape me into the player and person I am today.
All the sacrifices, lessons, and hard work have led me to this moment, and Iβm beyond blessed to announce that I will be continuing my basketball and academic career at Langston University. ππ§‘π
The journey is just getting started. Ready to work.
